Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be at least 25 years old to operate a hotel shuttle
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time verifiable driving experience
  • No positive drug or alcohol tests
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the past 36 months
  • No speeding violations over 25 mph above limit in past 36 months
  • No DUI convictions in past 5 years
  • No history of vehicular homicide, manslaughter, or assault
  • No operating vehicle with suspended or revoked license
  • No use of vehicle in commission of felony
  • No reckless driving, speed contests, or leaving accident scenes
  • No eluding police or operating cell phone while driving violations
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand workplace language
  • Must maintain neat and well-groomed appearance per company standards
  • Regular attendance and punctuality is required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license meeting company insurance requirements
  • Good verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organizational abilities
  • Basic computer and computational skills
  • Ability to effectively deal with customers using patience, tact, and diplomacy
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
  • Self-driven and able to work independently

Job Duties

  • Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
  • Inform guests of all safety features and promote hotel outlets
  • Offer information pertaining to hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
  • Store guest luggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading luggage for guests
  • Call taxi for guests as requested
  • Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork, supervise group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries
  • Maintain check-in station appearance and organization
  • Assist with transporting boxes and supplies for other departments
  • Promote a positive working environment and follow employee handbook guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness of valet stand, driveway, bell closet, and carts
  • Operate guest vehicles safely from valet area to parking and return vehicles for guest pick-up
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
