Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years full-time verifiable driving experience with similar vehicles
- Valid driver's license that meets company insurance requirements
- At least 25 years old to operate shuttle or drive guests
- At least 21 years old to operate own or company vehicles for other than shuttle
- No positive drug or alcohol test including pre-employment, random, post-accident or reasonable suspicion
- No more than 2 moving traffic violations in past 36 months
- No speeding violations over 25 mph in past 36 months
- No DUI convictions in past 5 years
- No vehicular homicide, manslaughter or assault
- No operating vehicle with suspended or revoked license or license suspensions
- No use of vehicle in commission of felony
- No operating vehicle without owner permission
- No reckless driving or speed contests
- No leaving scene of accident with bodily injury or damage
- No eluding police officer
- No operating cell phone while driving violations
- Must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
- Regular attendance and punctuality required
- Must comply with all company safety and operational procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Valid driver's license meeting company insurance requirements
- Good communication skills including verbal, written and electronic
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and computational ability
- Knowledgeable in Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system and POS
- Ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers with patience, tact and diplomacy
- Self-driven and able to work independently
Job Duties
- Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
- Inform guests of all safety features and promote hotel outlets when possible
- Offer information about hotel services, facilities, local points of interest and entertainment attractions
- Store guest luggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading luggage into and out of automobiles
- Call taxi for guests as requested
- Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork to ensure accuracy and operational standards
- Supervise group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries
- Maintain the check-in station for appearance, organization, and operational effectiveness
- Assist other departments with transporting boxes and supplies
- Promote a positive working environment and comply with employee handbook guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of valet stand, driveway, bell closet, and bell carts
- Safely operate guest vehicles from valet area to parking and return vehicles for guest pick-up while obeying traffic laws
- Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
