Job Requirements
- Must be at least 25 years old to operate a shuttle or drive guests
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate own or company vehicles other than shuttle
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable full-time similar vehicle driving experience
- No positive drug or alcohol test including pre-employment, random, post-accident or reasonable suspicion
- No more than 2 moving traffic violations in the last 36 months
- No speeding violations exceeding 25 mph over the speed limit in the last 36 months
- No DUI convictions in the last 5 years
- No history of vehicular homicide, manslaughter, or assault
- No operating a vehicle with suspended or revoked license
- No vehicle use in commission of felony
- No operating a vehicle without owner permission
- No reckless driving or speed contests
- No leaving the scene of an accident involving injury or damage
- No eluding police
- No driving while using a cell phone violations
- Must maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per company standards
- Regular attendance with punctuality
- Able to stand and exert mobility for up to 4 hours
- Able to lift up to 45 lbs
- Able to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
- Valid driver's license meeting company insurance requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, key system, and POS
- Valid driver's license and compliance with company insurance requirements
- Ability to work independently with self-motivation
- Detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to effectively handle customer interactions requiring patience, tact, and diplomacy
Job Duties
- Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
- Inform guests of all safety features and promote hotel outlets if time permits
- Offer information about available services and facilities, local points of interest, and entertainment attractions
- Store guest luggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading luggage into and from automobiles
- Call taxis for guests as requested
- Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork ensuring accuracy and operational standards
- Supervise group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries
- Maintain the check-in station for appearance, organization, and effectiveness
- Assist other departments with transporting boxes and supplies
- Promote a positive working environment and adhere to employee handbook policies
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of valet stand, driveway, bell closet, and carts
- Safely operate guest vehicles obeying all traffic laws
- Perform other duties assigned by management
