Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • ability to provide and maintain a valid driver's license
  • must be at least 25 years old to operate a shuttle or drive guests
  • must be at least 21 years old to operate own or company vehicles for other than shuttle
  • minimum of 3 years full-time verifiable similar vehicle driving experience
  • no positive drug or alcohol tests including pre-employment, random, post-accident or reasonable suspicion
  • no more than 2 moving traffic violations in previous 36 months
  • no speeding violations over 25 mph in past 36 months
  • no DUI conviction in past 5 years
  • no vehicular homicide, manslaughter or assault
  • no operating a vehicle with suspended or revoked license
  • no using a vehicle in commission of felony
  • no operating vehicle without owner permission
  • no reckless driving or speed contests
  • no leaving scene of accident with injury or damage
  • no eluding police officer
  • no operating cell phone while driving violations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior hospitality experience preferred
  • excellent customer relations skills
  • good communication skills, verbal, written and electronic
  • detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills
  • basic computer skills and computational ability
  • ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with patience, tact and diplomacy
  • knowledgeable about Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system and POS
  • valid driver license
  • self-driven and able to work independently

Job Duties

  • Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
  • inform guests of all safety features and promote outlets when possible
  • offer information pertaining to available services and hotel facilities and local attractions
  • store guest luggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading of luggage
  • call taxi for guests as requested
  • prepare and maintain all tour and delivery paperwork, supervise group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries
  • maintain check-in station appearance, organization and operational effectiveness
  • assist other departments with transporting boxes and supplies
  • promote a positive working environment and follow all guidelines and procedures
  • complete daily maintenance and cleanliness of valet stand, driveway, bell closet, and carts
  • safely operate guest vehicles and obey all traffic laws
  • perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
