Job Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 years of helicopter aviation experience
  • hold a commercial rotorcraft license
  • possess CFI or CFII certification (AGI for ground instructors)
  • minimum 1000 hours total helicopter flight time
  • at least 500 hours flight time as instructor pilot
  • no revocation of any pilot's license by FAA or other regulatory authorities
  • self-motivated and disciplined with ability to meet department objectives
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • attention to detail and goal oriented
  • able to work well in a team
  • proficient with Microsoft Office applications Excel and MS Projects

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Deliver academic ground instruction and simulator training to customers for visual and instrument flight
  • coordinate and participate in development of flight and ground training courseware
  • follow flight safety and practice area procedures
  • interface with maintenance facility group to ensure aircraft are adequately prepared for flight
  • comply with all applicable Aviation Authority requirements
  • travel domestically or internationally as required by customers
  • work shifts outside of standard schedule as needed
  • provide subject matter expertise during sales and marketing flights
