Job Requirements

  • must have at least 5 years of helicopter aviation experience
  • no revocation of any pilot's license by faa or regulatory agencies
  • self-motivated
  • disciplined
  • able to meet department objectives

Job Qualifications

  • bachelors degree
  • commercial rotorcraft license
  • cfi/cfii (agi for ground instructors)
  • at least 1000 hours total time in helicopters
  • at least 500 hours as instructor pilot
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • proactive
  • attention to detail
  • goal oriented
  • ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • proficiency in microsoft office (excel and ms projects)

Job Duties

  • deliver academic ground instruction and simulator training to customers for visual and instrument flight
  • coordinate and participate in development of flight and ground training courseware
  • follow flight safety and practice area procedures
  • interface with maintenance facility group to ensure aircraft are adequately prepared for flight
  • comply with all applicable aviation authority requirements
  • travel domestically or internationally as required by the customer
  • work shifts outside of 8am-5pm schedule as required by business demand
  • provide subject matter expertise during sales and marketing flights
