Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry goods up to 100 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders quickly
- Working knowledge of hotel services and policies learned on the job
- Ability to speak clear and concise English
- Ability to listen with empathy and provide accurate information
- Ability to handle difficult customers with patience and diplomacy
- Ability to perform duties under varying temperature conditions
- Availability to work an 8-hour shift with varying schedules
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of local area and attractions is a plus
- Physical ability to perform required tasks
- Customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests and offer assistance with check-in and check-out
- Deliver laundry and store luggage promptly and safely
- Escort guests to and from their rooms explaining in-room amenities and hotel facilities
- Provide valet parking service following company transportation guidelines
- Maintain good relations with car rental, taxi, tour, and limo services
- Recommend local restaurants, theaters, and community events for guest satisfaction
- Polish and monitor bell carts and maintain a clean work area
- Report and follow-up on guest complaints and issues in a timely manner
