Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Capacity to walk and stand for long periods
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Basic knowledge of local area and attractions
  • Patient and calm demeanor
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to provide empathetic and patient guest service
  • Familiarity with hotel facilities and amenities
  • Basic knowledge of concierge services
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required for the role
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Valid driver’s license preferred for valet service

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, offer assistance with check-in/check-out, deliver laundry and store luggage
  • Know the complete hotel facilities and layout to escort guests to and from their rooms, explaining all in-room amenities, emergency procedures and hotel facilities
  • Deliver flowers, packages, gifts, amenities, messages and parcels as directed by the day's priorities
  • Provide valet parking service according to Springboard hospitality transportation guidelines
  • Assist with activities and foster good relations with car rental companies, taxi services, tour and travel companies, limo services to provide quality service
  • Provide information and recommend area restaurants, theaters, community events and activities to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Polish and monitor bell carts consistently and maintain the work area clean and orderly
  • Handle maintenance program of company vehicles, including cleaning schedule, refueling and trip logs
  • Report and follow-up on guest complaints or problems timely and professionally to ensure quality guest experience
  • Use a clear, concise English-speaking voice, listen with empathy, provide accurate information and document incident information
  • Perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, walking significant distances, climbing stairs and ladders
  • Lift and/or carry goods weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Work in extreme temperature ranges as required
  • Stand, walk and/or sit continuously during shifts
