The Chamberlain West Hollywood, located in the vibrant heart of West Hollywood, CA, is currently seeking a Valet and Guest Services team member to join its Front Office team. This hourly position offers a competitive pay rate of $20.22 per hour and requires working flexible 8-hour shifts that may vary according to hotel needs. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of prior experience in hospitality valet or guest services
- Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office and micros station
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally
- Physical capability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- Must be able to work flexible and extended hours
- Ability to handle emergency situations and maintain security
- Must be a team player able to work under minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in valet and guest services preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or micros station
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Effective communication in English, both written and verbal
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel safety and security procedures
- Ability to accurately count cash and operate a cash register
- Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
Job Duties
- Greet guests and assist with check-in and check-out
- Deliver laundry and store luggage
- Escort guests to and from rooms, explaining amenities and emergency procedures
- Provide valet parking services following company guidelines
- Coordinate with car rental, taxi, limo, and tour companies
- Provide guests with information on local restaurants, theaters, and events
- Maintain bell carts and company vehicles clean and operational
