Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year previous experience in valet and guest services
  • Advanced computer software knowledge including Microsoft Office and/or micros station
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Energetic and outgoing
  • Basic financial understanding

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred
  • 1+ years experience in valet and guest services in hospitality or fast-paced environment preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and/or micros station software
  • Knowledge of property safety and security procedures
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Energetic and outgoing personality
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow directions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Team player with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, offer assistance with check-in/check-out, deliver laundry and store luggage
  • Know the complete hotel facilities and layout to escort guests to and from their rooms explaining amenities and emergency procedures
  • Deliver flowers, packages, gifts, amenities, messages, and parcels as directed by daily priorities
  • Provide valet parking service to guests following company transportation guidelines and assist with relationships with car rental, taxi, tour, and limo services
  • Provide information and recommend local restaurants, theaters, events, and activities to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness and polishing of bell carts and manage company vehicle maintenance, cleaning, refueling, and trip logs
  • Report and follow-up on guest complaints or problems in a professional and timely manner
  • Use clear and concise English communication, listen with empathy, document incidents legibly
  • Deal effectively with internal and external customers requiring patience and diplomacy
  • Perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, walking significant distances, lifting up to 100 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, and working in extreme temperature conditions
  • Stand, walk, or sit continuously during shifts
  • Observe and detect signs of emergency situations
  • Follow safety and security policies
  • Abide by payroll policies and company conduct rules
