Job Duties
- Monitors a kettle at an assigned location ensuring it is never left unattended
- ensures security and accountability of kettle and funds with established operating procedures
- rings a handheld bell where allowed by management to attract attention to the kettle and encourage donations
- greets the public in a courteous and friendly manner and expresses appreciation to donors
- distributes printed material or other items as instructed by supervisor
- provides general information about The Salvation Army's operations and services
- attends employee meetings as required
