Job Requirements

  • Must hold and obtain a valid Nevada driver’s license
  • Must obtain and maintain alcohol awareness card
  • Must produce driving record from DMV annually
  • Must obtain safe driving certificate from online driving school
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 65 pounds
  • Ability to maintain stamina and work under pressure
  • Ability to follow directions in written, oral or diagram form

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bell person experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED certificate
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and presentation skills
  • Ability to resolve problems diplomatically
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Assist guests with opening and closing vehicle doors
  • Welcome guests and visitors with appropriate greetings of the day
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within 15 seconds and provide professional, fast and friendly service
  • Communicate storage and delivery services to guests
  • Tag guest luggage with number of bags and last name and ensure safe storage
  • Transport departing guests' luggage from room to lobby ensuring all bags are accounted for
  • Deliver arriving guests' luggage to their rooms and explain room facilities
  • Verify guests' ticket before handing over luggage
  • Occasionally deliver packages from FedEx after hours
  • Occasionally rent out scooters and wheelchairs for third party vendors
  • Cover VIP runs and lunch breaks for shuttle drivers on rotation
  • Provide guests with information about property facilities, amenities, services and special events
  • Give fond farewells to departing guests as per standards
  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction of requests or problem resolution
  • Document and report luggage incidents like damages or theft
  • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management
  • Monitor and maintain safety, security and cleanliness of luggage storage and bell desk
  • Cover Bell Desk in absence of Dispatcher as per rotation
