Job Requirements

  • Valid Florida driver’s license
  • Good driving record
  • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
  • Ability to provide legible communication and directions
  • Ability to compute basic arithmetic
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and organize
  • Ability to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment
  • Ability to follow directions thoroughly
  • Ability to understand guest’s service needs
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent resort data

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality industry in similar position
  • Ability to suggestively sell
  • Ability to input and access information in the property management system and computers
  • Previous guest relations training

Job Duties

  • Transport guest luggage to/from guest rooms
  • Escort guests to rooms and inform guests of all resort services and features
  • Attend to immediate needs of each guest upon arrival and provide follow-through attention throughout their stay
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all resort services and amenities
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to ensure seamless service
  • Communicate effectively with guests and resort staff
  • Uphold guest confidentiality and handle guest information with discretion
