Job Requirements

  • must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • must be able to walk quickly and/or climb stairs while carrying luggage
  • must be able to work outdoors under a covered parkway in either extreme heat or cold
  • must be available weekends/holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • proficient conversation English language skills required
  • valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Opening the front door for guests, direct them to the check-in desk
  • greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations in a prompt, friendly and informative manner
  • organize, store, retrieve and transport guest luggage with care
  • assist with loading and unloading guest vehicles
  • carefully inspect, record and drive valet vehicles to and from the designated valet parking areas
  • inspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with the room features and amenities of the hotel
  • respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • assist with room moves, special deliveries, and dry cleaning delivery
  • provide accurate directions, maps, brochures, etc.
  • verbally pass along all appropriate information to the Guest Services Manager/Bell Captains regarding any relevant feedback from guests or other departments
  • coordinate the traffic of vehicles in front of the hotel (guests’ cars, limousines, taxis, minivans, buses)
  • provide car valet service: drive the guests’ cars to and back from the Hotel’s designated outsourced garage
  • maintain good relationship with all the departments of the hotel
  • responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy work area at all times (including the lobby and the area of the hotel entrance)
