Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in hospitality or banquet service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Good physical health and stamina for prolonged standing and walking
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role is preferred
- Previous bartending experience is highly desirable
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for extended periods
Job Duties
- Prepare banquet rooms and event spaces including table setting, décor placement, and ensuring event specifications are met
- Verify all equipment such as tables, chairs, and linens are in good condition and properly arranged
- Follow detailed event instructions to ensure accurate and timely setup
- Warmly greet guests and attend to their needs throughout the event
- Serve food and beverages professionally maintaining high standards of courtesy and service
- Refill beverages, clear plates, and check on guest satisfaction continuously
- Adhere to proper serving techniques and follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure seamless service
- Address guest concerns and special requests promptly and professionally
- Monitor guest needs and respond to requests in a timely manner
- Clear and clean tables ensuring all items are removed and disposed of correctly
- Break down event setups including packing up equipment and decorations
- Clean and sanitize banquet areas and return equipment to proper storage
- Work closely with banquet staff to provide efficient and cohesive service
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet expectations
- Assist with training new staff as needed
