Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably multiple years in a medical or behavioral health setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organization and administrative skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven experience in Electronic Health/Medical Record Systems, preferably Advanced MD (AMD)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Current CPR, AED, First Aid Certification required
- Current DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card required

Job Duties
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or team member
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimal wait times
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Collect co-pays and fees, ensuring accurate records and adherence to financial policies
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality (HIPAA)
- Assist patients with inquiries and provide relevant information about services and procedures
- Prepare and process medical forms and documents
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and deliveries
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
