Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older and legally eligible to work for an ABC license
- high school graduate or GED equivalent
- working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- experience in beer, wine, or liquor service industries preferred
- certifications such as Certified Specialist of Wine or equivalent preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications

- working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- beer, wine, or liquor experience in service industries
- certifications such as Certified Specialist of Wine, Certified Wine Educator, or Court of Master Sommelier membership
- excellent customer service skills

- ability to manage inventory and order processes
- knowledge of Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations
- ability to execute merchandising displays and promotional events
- attention to detail and organizational skills
- capacity to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Practice and promote exemplary customer service including greeting customers and offering product suggestions
- respond to all customer calls or requests within 24 hours
- schedule and execute engagement events such as in-store tastings
- gain and maintain knowledge of products sold including pronunciation, origin, and industry terms
- execute display plans and special in-store promotions
- ensure compliance with federal, state, and local Alcoholic Beverage Control guidelines and check for valid identification
- drive sales by executing sales plans and merchandising standards
- stay current with seasonal and local industry trends
- work with management to execute primary display and cross merchandising programs
- maintain accurate signage and shelf tags including 90/20 sections
- conduct daily scan audits to ensure signage accuracy
- maintain electronic updates for TapHunter and Digital Chalkboard
- order appropriately and manage Computer Assisted Order entries
- inspect department for stock levels and product rotation, taking corrective action when necessary
- communicate stock needs and sales plans to distributors
- accurately fill, seal, and ring up customer growler orders
- serve food and beverage orders to bar patrons
- accurately process customer transactions at POS system
- maintain supplies, equipment, cleanliness, and sanitation per health and company standards
- track dating and cleaning procedures on tap systems
- take direction and demonstrate ownership of best practices
- maintain proper temperatures in cases and log temperatures
- comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- conduct preventive maintenance inspections and report repair needs
- perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
