Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to engage in continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Capability to handle and lift bulky and awkwardly shaped items often
- Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency with technology used in retail environments
- Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays 'runway ready' through re-merchandising and straightening
- Assist customers at the point-of-sale with a variety of transactions including in-store, online and mobile platforms
- Operate the point-of-sale system effectively and provide friendly service
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and managing clothing returns
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free salesfloor by sorting and returning merchandise
- Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies
- Adhere to operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- Promote customer programs like Nordstrom Rewards
