Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capability to continuously move throughout the store during shift
- Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds during shift
- Coordination and manipulation of objects during shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency in selling
- Proficient with basic technology such as point of sale system and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging, personalizing service, answering product questions, informing about promotions, and recommending products
- Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest service
- Book appointments for services and support in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience
- Stay informed on new and existing products and services, including ingredients and benefits
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Share guest loyalty program benefits including credit and Ulta Beauty app with guests
- Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training for professional development and sales performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to dress code
- Keep work area replenished, signed, faced, and testers available
- Maintain store cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing
- Follow loss prevention practices and protect company assets
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
