Job Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Continuous mobility throughout the store during shifts

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- One year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
- Proficient with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty (including credit), omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store
- Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service, answering questions, informing guests about promotions and sales, and recommending products and services
- Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience
- Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while achieving sales goals
- Stay informed about new and existing products and services and be knowledgeable about their ingredients and benefits
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Share benefits of the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app, with guests
- Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education
- Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to dress code
- Keep assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, ensuring testers are available
- Maintain store cleanliness in salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and processing shipments
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
