Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Demonstrates passion for guest service and competency for selling
- Proficient with basic technology including Point of Sale system and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty including credit, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service, answering product questions, informing about promotions, and recommending complementary products and services
- Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience
- Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events to deliver unrivaled guest experiences and meet sales goals
- Stay informed on new and existing products and services, including ingredients and benefits to serve guests better
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Share guest loyalty program benefits including credit and Ulta Beauty app with guests
- Collaborate with store managers and associates to grow the business
- Participate in ongoing training including brand and category education for professional development
- Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to dress code
- Keep assigned work area replenished, signed, faced, and testers available
- Maintain store cleanliness including sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and processing shipments
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing excellent guest service
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
