Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
- Proficient with basic technology including Point of Sale system and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty including credit, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing their experience, answering product and service questions, informing guests about promotions and sales, and recommending complementary products and services
- Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience
- Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events to deliver exceptional guest experiences and sales goals
- Stay informed about new and existing products and services, including ingredients and benefits, to better serve guests
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Share the benefits of guest loyalty programs including credit and the Ulta Beauty app
- Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business
- Regularly participate in ongoing training including brand and category education
- Comply with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to dress code
- Keep assigned work area replenished, signed and faced, and ensure testers availability
- Maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and processing/unloading shipments
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
