Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
- Proficient with basic technology such as Point of Sale system and Apple devices
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty including credit, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink
- Ensure exceptional service by greeting, engaging guests, personalizing service, answering questions, informing about promotions, and recommending products
- Handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience
- Book appointments and support execution of services and in-store events to deliver unrivaled guest experiences and sales goals
- Stay informed about new and existing products and services and be knowledgeable about product ingredients and benefits
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Share benefits of the guest loyalty program and Ulta Beauty app with guests
- Collaborate with managers and associates to grow business
- Participate in ongoing training including brand and category education
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to Ulta Beauty dress code
- Keep assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced and ensure testers are available
- Maintain store cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area
- Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing and advertising displays, physical inventory, and shipment processing
- Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing exceptional guest service
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
