Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience
- completion of food safety and sanitation training
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of computer systems and equipment such as PC, symbol, scales, label machine
- ability to function in detailed and precise tasks
- ability to lift weights up to 55 lbs and manage heavier loads with assistance
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties
- Proactively provides superior customer service
- takes orders from customers by telephone or in person
- answers customer questions regarding products
- assists them with selections
- works independently with minimal supervision
- prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh products effectively
- slices, packages, labels, rotates, and culls products for poor quality
- assists in technical areas as needed such as operation of Tortilleria
- uses advanced selling techniques and product knowledge to meet customer needs and build sales
- cleans and sanitizes display cases
- operates and maintains equipment properly
- complies with food safety and sanitation standards
- records production and shrink to aid in production planning
- ensures service counter customers are greeted and taken care of
- manages e-Commerce order applications
- performs inventory management processes
- assists in training other partners
- ensures catering orders are prepared and ready
- provides product demos and education to customers
- ensures sanitation and maintenance of deli slicers
- serves and packages products at customer requests
- educates customers on preparation and reheating instructions
- prepackages condiments
- cuts, slices, dices, chops food in preparation for chef
