Job Requirements
- must be at least 18+ years of age
- must be legally authorized to work within the United States
- reliable transportation to work is required
- valid driver's license preferred
- self-directed with the ability to work independently
- prior Alzheimer's/dementia care experience a plus
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- certification as CNA or HHA required
- experience working with seniors or vulnerable adults preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with clients and families
- physically able to perform caregiving duties
- patient, compassionate, and dedicated to elder care
- previous experience with Alzheimer's or dementia patients a plus
Job Duties
- offer companionship and non-medical support to seniors in their own homes
- assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers
- provide medication reminders
- complete light housekeeping duties and meal preparation duties
- perform grocery shopping and provide client with transportation to errands and doctor's appointments
