Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in hospitality or related service position
- Food Safety certification if working with food and beverage
- Professional, friendly, and customer service oriented
- Strong verbal communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Self-motivated with initiative and willingness to learn new skills
- Well organized, detail oriented, and dependable
- CPR certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- At least one year experience in the hospitality industry or related service position preferred
- Food Safety certified if applicable
- Professional and friendly manner with excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to anticipate needs
- Well organized and detail oriented
- CPR certified
- Knowledge of company policies and regulations
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate information clearly in writing
- Ability to understand and communicate ideas effectively orally
- Proficient in using club software and email communication such as Microsoft Outlook
Job Duties
- Greet members and guests upon arrival to the club
- Check members in by verifying their membership
- Ensure all guests fully complete a Guest Registration Waiver and pay any applicable fees
- Book appointments, programs, and class reservations for members and guests
- Provide information regarding club programming and facilities
- Deliver exceptional service experience to retain guests for repeat business
- Represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and follow-up
- Provide membership sales team with guest/prospect lead contact information
- Operate cash register and process payments
- Manage and balance cash drawer each shift
- Perform opening and/or closing duties
- Answer and transfer phone calls
- Create and serve food and beverage items
- Promote daily specials and upsell orders
- Maintain a clean and safe café environment according to food safety standards
- Greet members and guests at the pool area and act as host
- Work with the food and beverage team to offer and serve refreshments
- Offer seating and provide tours of pool deck amenities
- Assist with maintaining refreshment stations
- Provide towels and assist with towel operations
- Warmly greet members in the parking garage and verify memberships
- Audit cars parked in the garage when necessary
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and stock levels throughout the club
- Perform detailed cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory
- Communicate timely and follow up appropriately
- Participate actively in required events, meetings, and training
- Flexibility to work day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Maintain safety and hospitality standards at all times
