Job Requirements
- Minimum one year experience in hospitality or related service position preferred
- Food safety certified if applicable
- CPR certified
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
- Proficient in basic computer and email use
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work cohesively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of company policies
- Ability to read, understand and communicate information in writing
- Ability to understand and communicate ideas orally
- Ability to utilize club software programs and email communication software such as Microsoft Outlook
- At least one year experience in the hospitality industry or related service position preferred
- Food safety certified if applicable
- Professional and friendly manner with excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Enthusiastic, responsible and dependable team player
- Self-motivated with initiative and willingness to acquire new skills
- Well organized and detail oriented
- CPR certified
Job Duties
- Greet members and guests upon arrival to the Club
- Check members in by verifying their membership
- Ensure all guests fully complete a Guest Registration Waiver and pay applicable guest fees
- Book appointments, program, and class reservations for members and guests
- Provide information regarding Club programming and facilities
- Deliver exceptional service experience to members, guests, and associates
- Represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and follow through
- Operate cash register and process payments
- Manage cash and balance cash drawer each shift
- Perform opening and/or closing duties
- Answer and transfer phone calls
- Create and serve food and beverage items
- Promote daily specials and encourage upgrades
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment according to state and local food safety standards
- Greet members and guests at pool area and act as host
- Offer seating and provide tours of pool deck amenities
- Communicate and book appointments for programs and events
- Assist with maintaining refreshment stations and towel operations
- Warmly greet in parking garage and verify member entry
- Audit cars parked in garage when necessary
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and stock levels throughout the club
- Perform detailed cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks
- Restock vanity supplies and janitorial products
- Assist with laundry functions including collecting, washing, drying, and folding towels
- Communicate timely and participate actively in required meetings and training
- Flexibility in work schedule including day, evening, weekends, and holidays
