Job Requirements
- Ability to perform each primary job function satisfactorily
- knowledge of company policies and regulations
- ability to read, understand, and communicate information clearly in writing and orally
- ability to utilize club software programs and email communication software
- willingness to acquire new skills
- physically able to stand for extended periods, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear
- capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- At least one year experience in the hospitality industry or related service position preferred
- food safety certified if applicable
- professional and friendly manner with excellent customer service attitude and abilities
- strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
- self-motivated and proactive
- well organized and detail oriented
- CPR certified
- adept at using club software and Microsoft Outlook
Job Duties
- Greet members and guests upon arrival to the club
- check members in by verifying their membership
- ensure all guests complete a guest registration waiver and pay applicable fees
- book appointments, programs, and class reservations for members and guests
- provide information regarding club programming and facilities
- deliver exceptional service experience to members, guests, and associates
- represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through
- operate cash register and process payments
- manage cash and balance cash drawer each shift
- perform opening and/or closing duties as required
- answer and transfer phone calls
- create and serve food and beverage items
- promote daily specials and encourage upgrades
- maintain a clean, safe work environment
- greet members and guests in designated areas such as pool deck or parking garage
- assist in maintaining cleanliness and stock levels throughout the club
- detail cleaning and preventive maintenance
- restock supplies and janitorial products
- assist with laundry functions including collecting, washing, drying, and folding towels
- communicate timely and follow up appropriately
- actively participate in required events, programs, meetings, and trainings
- demonstrate flexibility in work schedule including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
