Job Requirements
- Licensed in the state of Virginia
- prior veterinary assistant, vet tech, or LVT experience required
- ER experience preferred
- must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- must be able to stand for long periods of time
Job Qualifications
- Licensed in the state of Virginia
- prior veterinary assistant, vet tech, or LVT experience
- ER experience preferred
- strong venipuncture skills
- competency in IVC placement
- knowledge of radiograph and anesthetic procedures
- proficiency in medical math and pharmacology
Job Duties
- Lead the flow and guide staff through shifts
- triage and emergency stabilization
- perform in-house diagnostics and treatments
- provide intensive care for hospitalized patients
- deliver in-depth client education
