Job Requirements
- High school certification
- 1-2 years relevant work experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs routinely
- Ability to perform duties under high stress and pressure
- Basic mathematical knowledge related to measurements and formulas
- Effective communication skills in English
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Commitment to health and safety compliance
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, overnight, holidays as scheduled
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Job Qualifications
- High School Certification
- 1-2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Formal training or knowledge in SAP, HACCP, GMP, Hygiene preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Solid comprehension of production schedules and laboratory testing
- Understanding of quality improvement and efficiency enhancement
- Attention to detail
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain one
- Basic computer skills for production software
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze production data and optimize processes
- Participation in safety audits and risk management
Job Duties
- Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
- Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per corporate, customer, and governing standards
- Comply with FDA, state/city regulations, Refresco quality policies, GMPs, HACCP, Allergen, Kosher, and other regulations
- Operate batching/blending equipment after training and certification
- Ensure quality and integrity of product runs according to specifications
- Transport pre-weighed ingredients by forklift
- Verify ingredients against SAP, food safety, quality, and inventory controls before batching
- Program bulk ingredient delivery systems
- Follow batching/blending sheets and record amounts accurately
- Obtain blend tank samples and coordinate with quality lab for testing
- Complete required documentation and forward to QA/Blending department
- Maintain sanitation and cleaning of batching/blending areas
- Perform CIP/COP sanitation of equipment as scheduled
- Remove empty barrels and bins to storage
- Receive and unload bulk concentrate tankers
- Report non-compliance and safety issues to management
