Job Duties

  • Mix and blend ingredients according to recipes to produce food products with the required flavor, texture, color, and quality
  • Carefully read and follow batching instructions to weigh and measure ingredients accurately
  • Set up, operate, and monitor blending and mixing equipment according to designated formulas
  • Observe gauges, valves, and thermometers to ensure equipment is operating within proper temperature and processing ranges
  • Listen for and identify equipment issues such as leaks or plugging and report concerns to the Team Coach or Business Unit Manager
  • Measure and weigh dry ingredients and oils using English or metric measurements and scales
  • Receive and document incoming ingredients and bulk materials while following lot control procedures
  • Perform basic analytical testing on raw materials and finished products
  • Operate Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems and inspect equipment after cleaning to ensure all residues are removed
  • Maintain accurate production logs, inventory records, and lot tracking documentation
  • Monitor batching inventory levels to ensure materials are available for efficient production
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
  • Safely operate forklifts as needed to move and supply materials
  • Participate in shift handoffs and team meetings
