Job Duties
- Mix and blend ingredients according to recipes to produce food products with the required flavor, texture, color, and quality
- Carefully read and follow batching instructions to weigh and measure ingredients accurately
- Set up, operate, and monitor blending and mixing equipment according to designated formulas
- Observe gauges, valves, and thermometers to ensure equipment is operating within proper temperature and processing ranges
- Listen for and identify equipment issues such as leaks or plugging and report concerns to the Team Coach or Business Unit Manager
- Measure and weigh dry ingredients and oils using English or metric measurements and scales
- Receive and document incoming ingredients and bulk materials while following lot control procedures
- Perform basic analytical testing on raw materials and finished products
- Operate Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems and inspect equipment after cleaning to ensure all residues are removed
- Maintain accurate production logs, inventory records, and lot tracking documentation
- Monitor batching inventory levels to ensure materials are available for efficient production
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
- Safely operate forklifts as needed to move and supply materials
- Participate in shift handoffs and team meetings
