Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Basic mathematical ability for adjustments
- Knowledge or willingness to learn FDA and GMP standards
- Attention to detail and quality commitment
- Physical capacity to lift and move up to 100 pounds
- Completion of all required safety and food safety training
- Reliable and able to follow instructions
- Willingness to wear safety equipment and company uniform
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Basic math skills for recipe adjustments
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality standards
- Familiarity with FDA and GMP regulations a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good record-keeping and documentation skills
- Physical ability to lift and move weights as required
- Ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols
Job Duties
- Mix beverage concentrate and other ingredients to produce syrup by following established recipes and procedures
- Make mathematical calculations to adjust recipe amounts based on batch size to meet quality standards
- Clean, sanitize, and operate the batch room and equipment in compliance with FDA and GMP standards
- Evaluate prepared syrup for texture, appearance, flavor, and other specified standards
- Record amounts and types of ingredients, coding data, and other information on Batch Sheets and Syrup Room documentation
- Receive and secure inventory
- Manage syrup inventory to ensure optimal use of ingredients according to code dates
- Sample shipments to verify weights, measures, coding data, and other evaluations for product control
- Wear and utilize appropriate safety equipment
- Wear company-provided uniform
- Complete required Safety, Food Safety, and GMP training and demonstrate compliance
- Perform other duties assigned by immediate or other supervisors
