Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years related manufacturing experience
- 1-2 years leadership or supervisory experience
- Forklift operating certification or experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including some Saturdays
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and perform housekeeping duties
- Tolerance for chemical odors
- Availability Monday through Friday with variable hours
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in specialty chemicals, food processing, pharmaceutical, or organic industries preferred
- Previous manufacturing environment experience required
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a lead, supervisory, or training role required
- Hands-on experience with liquid chemical blending and granular/tablet manufacturing preferred
- Demonstrated ability in accredited quality environments such as Lean Manufacturing or ISO
- Batch processing experience a plus
- Previous forklift operating experience required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Ability to prioritize work and manage projects with minimal supervision
- Capable of lifting 50-100 lbs (100 with assistance), standing, walking, climbing ladders, and wearing PPE
- Tolerant to chemical odors
- High school/GED required
- Proficient in English
- Ability to perform housekeeping and other assigned duties
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Mix and measure ingredients for batch production
- Run and maintain mixing equipment
- Keep manufacturing areas clean and organized
- Assist with product shipping and inventory control
- Report production numbers and assist customers
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Oversee and supervise first and second shift manufacturing teams
- Manage production schedules and coordinate maintenance activities
- Maintain quality assurance standards
- Develop and implement manufacturing documentation
- Monitor key operating metrics and drive continuous improvement
