Job Requirements
- Age 16 years or older
- Must pass a drug test
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours daily
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 55 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders and step stools
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail or food service is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
Job Duties
- Provide customer engagement in positive and approachable manner
- Greet guests
- Scoop ice cream cones and cups
- Present a clean and attractive store to each guest
- Hand-pack ice cream
- Fulfill all orders including special orders, prepare fountain items and other basic dessert duties
- Keep the store clean and sanitary, especially kitchen and dining area
- Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using POS system
- Perform other duties as assigned
