Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be 21 years of age to serve alcohol
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods
- Capability to lift and stock up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push, keyboard, use telephone, walk, and bend
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to adhere to Bashas policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food service or retail customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of health and safety standards
- Leadership and team motivation capabilities
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to train and mentor team members
- Basic cash handling experience
- Commitment to excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health department, and weights and measures requirements
- Deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with customers
- Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently by adhering to recipe and presentation standards and following health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge promoting the culture, values, and mission of Bashas and Starbucks
- Maintain calm exterior presence during high volume or unusual events to keep the store clean and comfortable
- Anticipate customer and store needs
- Follow Bashas operational policies and procedures including cash handling, safety, and security
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace for easy inventory and product location
- Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments
- Assist with new member training with positive reinforcement and respectful coaching
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
