Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- must be 21 years of age for any position serving alcohol
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capable of lifting and stocking up to 50 lbs
- able to bend, walk, and perform manual tasks
- experience working in a bakery or food retail environment preferred
- willingness to work flexible hours
- must have current leader endorsement for internal transfers or promotions

- Proven leadership experience in a retail bakery or similar environment
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- basic knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to food service
- ability to train and coach team members
- proficiency in inventory management and merchandising
- good organizational and multitasking skills
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Directing bakery department personnel, meeting department's goals and objectives
- managing bakery operations in the absence of the bakery team lead
- communicating directly with the bakery team lead, store director, and bakery specialist
- ordering supplies and products to maintain adequate stock levels
- merchandising bakery goods according to bakery merchandising standards
- executing and supporting all sales and merchandising initiatives
- serving as leader, role model, coach, performance evaluator, and trainer for the team
- ensuring department and team comply with health department and weights and measures requirements
- monitoring product pricing, signage, and placement including shelf tags and shelf signage
- maintaining clean and orderly check stand, sales counter, and production areas
- wrapping, boxing, weighing, slicing, finishing, and stocking bakery products while rotating stock to ensure quality and safety
- taking customer orders and ensuring timely and satisfactory order completion
- performing all other related duties as assigned
