Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meet flight hour requirements as specified for a Base Line Pilot
- Hold a Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
- Hold a Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating
- Capable of passing a 230-pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
- Ability to supervise and lead a team of pilots
- Available for a 7/7 work schedule
- Compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Meet the requirements of a Base Line Pilot
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine
- 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- Previous HAA experience or equivalent preferred
- One year of experience as a Pilot with a GMR company preferred
- Previous supervisory experience helpful
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Provide leadership and training to Base Line Pilots
- Develop and coordinate pilot duty schedules with Regional Director of Flight Operations
- Coordinate flight planning activities with the Program Director for mission support
- Conduct local area orientations for new hire pilots
- Coordinate aviation activities related to public relations events
- Review, correct, and submit monthly flight/duty logs for base pilots
- Monitor pilots and assist with management of flight and administrative issues
- Submit payroll grids for assigned pilots
- Operate aircraft safely and in compliance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual
- Monitor forecast changes and current weather situations
- Conduct preflight inspections and report discrepancies
- Report to shift rested and prepared with updated weather information
