Job Requirements

  • 2000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours helicopter time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
  • 500 hours turbine
  • 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • rotorcraft-helicopter commercial certificate
  • rotorcraft-helicopter instrument rating
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 230-pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots

Job Qualifications

  • Meet the requirements of a Base Line Pilot
  • 2000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours helicopter time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
  • 500 hours turbine
  • 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • previous HAA experience or equivalent preferred
  • one year of experience as a Pilot with a GMR company preferred
  • previous supervisory experience helpful
  • rotorcraft-helicopter commercial certificate
  • rotorcraft-helicopter instrument rating
  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and training to Base Line Pilots
  • develop and coordinate pilot duty schedules with the Regional Director of Flight Operations
  • coordinate flight planning activities and resources with the Program Director
  • conduct local area orientations for new hire pilots
  • coordinate aviation activities for public relations events
  • review, correct, and submit monthly flight/duty logs to the Regional Director of Flight Operations
  • monitor pilots and assist in managing day-to-day flight and administrative issues
  • submit assigned base pilot payroll grids to the Regional Director of Flight Operations
  • operate aircraft safely and efficiently in compliance with the Rotorcraft Flight Manual
  • monitor weather forecasts and current weather conditions
  • conduct preflight inspections and report discrepancies to maintenance
  • report to shift rested, prepared, and current on weather changes
