Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year fine dining server experience required
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
  • Must be able to continually serve and carry restaurant ware throughout the restaurant
  • Extensive food, liquor, wine, beer and beverage knowledge
  • Keen awareness for guests, staff and entire restaurant
  • Understanding the fluidity of restaurant with keen sense of urgency
  • Maintain composure, good judgment and common sense in all situations
  • Ability to communicate with guests, future guests, staff and management
  • Ability to self motivate and interact creatively with guests and staff
  • Ability to work within a team atmosphere
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including all holidays
  • Must possess a Health Card or Serve Safe Card
  • Must possess Alcohol Service Certification or be TIPS certified

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year fine dining server experience

  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff and management
  • Ability to self motivate and interact creatively with guests and fellow staff members
  • Ability to work within a team atmosphere
  • Possess a health card or serve safe card
  • Possess alcohol service certification or TIPS certified

Job Duties

  • Greet guests first using proper salutation and surnames whenever possible
  • Initiate all contact with guests as they enter regardless of their waiting location
  • Greet guests standing tall with welcoming smiles and eye contact
  • Organize, plan, multi-task and manage assigned section
  • Coordinate and detail section with overall restaurant flow
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, section and restaurant continually
  • Complete all opening and closing side work daily
  • Communicate efficiently with kitchen and food runners through POS
  • Ensure perfect service so guests do not have to ask for anything
  • Maintain consistency of service sequences throughout restaurant
  • Prioritize tables, service sequence, order completion and guest satisfaction
  • Follow procedures on ordering food and beverage for guests
  • Manage and be responsible for guests intoxication levels
  • Respond expediently to guests requests, comments, concerns and complaints
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Successfully represent the brand
  • Exercise creativity and latitude in all situations and events
