Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in food service or bartending preferred
  • Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco training and/or certificate
  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service while working under pressure
  • Good oral communication skills
  • Ability to calculate liquid measurements
  • Ability to do simple math and count change accurately

Job Duties

  • Attend Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adhere to policy
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar patrons
  • Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
  • Record drink orders accurately and immediately into register system
  • Collect guest payment, process credit card charges and make change
  • Take food orders, record into register system and deliver orders
  • Maintain bar stock and cleanliness
  • Clean glasses, utensils and bar equipment
  • Prepare garnishes and replenish snacks
  • Communicate low stock to food and beverage manager
  • Follow closing and duty lists
  • Report equipment and maintenance issues
  • Limit problems related to customers' excess drinking
  • Demonstrate commitment to service and club success
  • Perform additional assignments as directed
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
