Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in dietary or food service preferred
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- knowledge of ADA, state, infection control, health department, and OSHA regulations
- ability to stand for extended periods
- excellent communication skills
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work Monday through Friday 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Job Qualifications

- previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred, but not required
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- knowledge of and ability to meet regulations of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA
Job Duties
- be present in dining room for full meal service
- assist special functions as scheduled
- maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary and infection free environment at all times
- oversight of bistro areas as directed - food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages, make popcorn, etc
- know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented
- learn individual resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes
- must serve hot food hot and cold food cold
- as directed, participate in the Quality Assurance Committee
- sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal
- attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings
