Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of food menu, drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing ingredients
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as kegs or cases of alcohol
- A positive, outgoing, friendly attitude
- Professional and neat personal appearance
- This position requires evening and weekend availability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Job Duties
- Mixing and serving drinks including cocktails, beer, and wine
- Creating new and exciting drink recipes and adapting to customer preferences
- Suggestive selling to increase sales such as recommending premium liquors or special cocktails
- Greeting customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Taking and processing drink orders from customers
- Engaging with patrons by providing recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu
- Handling multiple drink orders and customer requests simultaneously
- Keeping the bar area clean and organized at all times
- Regularly cleaning and sanitizing glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
- Processing payments and providing accurate change
- Handling customer tabs and payments responsibly
- Ensuring responsible alcohol service by identifying and addressing overconsumption
- Monitoring and restocking the bar with supplies including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
- Keeping track of inventory levels and reporting shortages
- Following all local and state alcohol regulations including checking IDs and not serving underage or intoxicated customers
