Job Requirements
- minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of bartending experience
- at least one year of serving experience
- must hold a current MAST permit
- must possess a valid Washington Food Handlers Card
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and holidays
- willingness to perform cleaning duties including bathrooms
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to handle difficult guest situations independently
- must be available for holiday shifts such as July 4th, Halloween, New Years Eve, and New Years Day
Job Qualifications
- Must have a current MAST permit and Washington Food Handlers Card
- 1 year minimum of serving
- 1+ year of bartending experience
- a positive attitude
- good communication skills
- the ability to problem solve in a sometimes difficult and challenging work environment
- the ability to de-escalate difficult guest situations without a manager present
- the ability to work effectively under pressure and quickly during rush times and peak hours
- the ability to stay busy during slow times
- a team mentality
- willingness to clean bathrooms
- Must be available for holidays such as: July 4th, Halloween, New Years Eve, New Years Day
Job Duties
- At the Horseshoe Café our service staff needs to know how to keep their spaces organized, stocked, and clean
- We strive to give our customers a great dining experience by providing quality food, tasty cocktails, and the best customer service
- Shifts vary from daytime shifts to closing shifts
- THIS POSITION IS PART-TIME , 5-8 hours a week available
