Job Requirements
- Experience as a bartender required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Food handlers and TIPS certifications required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, holidays
- Must be able to stand and move fast-paced throughout entire shift
- Ability to work in fast-paced and temperature varying environments
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a bartender preferred, especially in high-volume settings
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with computerized cash registers preferred
- Food handlers and TIPS certificates required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Previous front-facing guest service experience required
- Must read, write and speak English fluently
Job Duties
- Greet, welcome, and interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Take orders, prepare drinks according to recipes and serve all food and beverage requests in the bar
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu
- Prepare the bar for service by ensuring bar supplies, garnishes, utensils are properly set up in accordance with quality standards
- Inventory unused liquor and beverages and ensure all liquor is properly secured before, during, and at close of shift
- Adhere to all cash handling and credit card policies and procedures, ensuring all drink orders from servers are accurately rung into the POS system
- Clean and reset the bar top and tables immediately after guests depart
- Complete all closing duties and reports assigned
- Secure all liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets and storage areas
- Adhere to established safety and sanitation guidelines
- Adhere to uniform and grooming standards
- Perform other duties or projects as requested by management
