Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age for service of intoxicating liquor
- Experience in food and beverage service
- One year of experience bartending/serving
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
- Knowledge of laws concerning the service and use of intoxicating liquor
Job Qualifications
- Must have outstanding customer service skills
- Must be able to understand and execute the safety with service of intoxicating beverages
- Must be able to properly ID customers for service of alcohol and tobacco
- Must possess basic math skills
- Must have the ability to operate cash register and handle money and charges
- Must present a professional image
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, employees and the public
Job Duties
- Responsible for opening and/or closing the bar and grill
- Responsible for coordinating the entire food service station and communicating with the front and back of house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guest expectations
- Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and in a timely manner
- Ensure that patrons are satisfied with the food and the service
- Process guest checks, accept payment and make change
- Accountable for cash and guest check charges
- Assist with stocking of food and beverage supplies
- Assist with food and beverage preparation
- Maintain knowledge of menu and food preparation practices
- Perform all set-up and cleaning of front of house and bar
- Perform various duties as assigned by management
