Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 6 months experience as a bartender
  • valid food handler certification
  • TIPS or equivalent certification
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent customer service skills
  • basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • strong attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of bartender experience
  • valid food handler certification
  • TIPS or equivalent certification
  • passion for hospitality industry
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner
  • prepare beverages for servers to supply to guests
  • act as cashier for the bar
  • maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar including requisitioning and stocking all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce
  • maintain stock, cutting, and storing of fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables
  • greet guests courteously and promote orders for drinks
  • mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
  • handle all cash and credit card transactions using the point of sale system
