Job Description
The Seasonal Bartender Ambassador role at SeaWorld involves creating and serving a variety of delicious and refreshing beverages and food items, combining mixology skills and exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience. The role requires the preparation of bar drinks according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines, alongside responsible alcohol service including checking IDs and monitoring consumption in line with company and state regulations. Job Requirements
- at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- understanding of state and local beverage safety requirements
- previous bartender experience required
- expertise with popular recipes such as margaritas, cosmopolitans, mojitos
- outstanding communication, customer service and register handling skills
- food & beverage safety certifications
- must have basic knowledge of beer, liquor and wine
- basic food and non-alcoholic beverage knowledge
Job Qualifications
- two years of bartender experience preferred
- theme park experience serving international guests highly desirable
- background in a high-volume nightclub, bar or restaurant a plus
Job Duties
- produce and serve bar drinks following recipe and presentation standards
- check IDs to ensure appropriate drinking age
- upsell premium products when appropriate
- get to know guest preferences
- monitor guest consumption of alcohol following all company and state guidelines
- answer guest questions
- operate register
- keep areas clean and sanitary
- earn guaranteed rate if not met with tips
