Job Requirements

Able to serve alcohol according to state law
Able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language of the work location
Able to perform simple mathematical calculations in regard to money handling
Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to five hours in length
Must have a good sense of balance
Able to bend, kneel and lift bus pans, trays, etc. frequently weighing up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of guest relations
Strong liquor knowledge
Familiarity with menu items and specials
Understanding of service sequences
Awareness of alcohol laws and responsible service
Experience with Point of Sale operation
Ability to prepare drinks following recipes and garnishes
Competent in money handling

Job Duties

Make each guest feel appreciated through accommodating actions
Practice the Hospitality Halo by greeting and engaging with guests and team members within a six-foot radius
Work as a team with all O'Charley's team members
Communicate clearly and enthusiastically with guests and team members, maintaining self-composure at all times
Ensure prompt and efficient food and beverage delivery, serving guests according to their perfect pace
Have a thorough knowledge of service sequences, bar accounting procedures, drink making techniques and recipes
Maintain general appearance of bar through cleaning and stocking
Ensure Perfect Drink presentations before items are delivered to guests
Own and correct mistakes to ensure guest satisfaction
