- must obtain valid food service and alcohol permit
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work varied shifts including late hours, weekends, and holidays
- physically able to stand for long periods and lift weights as necessary

- follow safe handling and service procedures for alcohol
- demonstrate punctuality and professional appearance
- willingness to undergo ongoing training

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

- prepare bar section prior to shifts
- demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage menus and specials
- follow all steps of service for guests
- accurately enter orders into POS
- assist coworkers to ensure guest satisfaction
- adhere to company policies for cash and card transactions
- perform basic math for transactions
- engage guests and coworkers positively
- ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure
- comply with state liquor laws and company policies
- prepare alcoholic drinks according to company recipes
- use jiggers for consistent drink preparation
- control liquor loss and costs
- stock and rotate coolers appropriately
- secure alcohol storage areas
- keep china and glass breakage minimal
- maintain knowledge of bar setup and closing procedures
