Job Requirements
- Bartending experience in a full service restaurant preferred, not required
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with guests, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Protect establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, maintaining orderly bar
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager
- Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive with guests and the staff
- Must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
